Who We Are

Who We Are

Founded in 2008, Storm Ideas is an international team working with globally recognised clients, particularly across the US TV and entertainment industry.

Our work sits at the intersection of media, technology, creativity, and operations. We build products, produce content at scale, design smarter ways for clients and internal teams to work, and keep looking for new ways to improve how the company operates.

We are a remote-first, fast-moving company with established clients, a growing team, and a strong appetite for better tools, better systems, and better ways of working. AI is central to how we operate — every team, every role, this one included.

About The Role

We are hiring an AI First Account Manager to own the client relationship and keep a complex social media operation joined up. You'll connect client priorities with the people and processes that deliver them.

You combine warmth and confidence with a strong systems mindset. You understand the client's goals, teams, and competing priorities. Clients enjoy working with you because you ask useful questions, give clear advice, and follow through.

You'll oversee work across social planning, publishing, community management, and reporting, working closely with the specialists delivering those services. You'll also actively develop better ways of working: understanding the problem, shaping the approach, writing clear briefs, testing changes, and helping teams adopt them. AI Operations, Creative Operations, and other colleagues will contribute to hands-on building. You stay close enough to explain the work confidently, challenge assumptions, and judge whether it delivers what the client needs.

Storm is an AI-native agency. AI tools and agentic workflows are central to how our teams work, and we hire people who want to work that way from day one.

We're not talking about using AI as a search box or an autocomplete. The person we're looking for treats AI as a capable pair of hands. They delegate whole pieces of work, not just questions. They review what comes back with a sharp, critical eye. And they keep refining how they brief and direct it, so the quality compounds. If you read that and thought "that's just how I work now," this role is built for you.

You'll learn the ground first: what we make and the bar it has to hit. Publishing plans people can trust. Clear handoffs between teams. Reports that lead to useful decisions. Then you'll work from Storm's stack of AI and creative tools, and play a real part in improving how this role gets done.

What You’ll Make Happen

What can you expect?

  • Build client confidence. Own the relationship and account rhythm, with AI tools and agentic workflows as your default way of working. Keep meetings, updates, decisions, and follow-ups useful and timely, so clients feel understood and know what happens next.
  • Represent the client's point of view. Understand their mission, audience, strategy, creative aims, stakeholders, preferences, and commercial context. Keep that knowledge structured and current so people and agents can use it reliably.
  • Turn ambiguity into clear direction. Translate requests into practical briefs with the client objective, users, inputs, outputs, owners, dependencies, and success criteria. Ask precise questions and challenge assumptions before teams commit to a solution.
  • Keep delivery joined up. Coordinate schedules, approvals, and handoffs across client teams, partners, and Storm specialists. Resolve competing requests around the account's goals.
  • Develop better workflows. Spot bottlenecks, missing information, duplicated effort, and unclear responsibilities. Shape proportionate changes, contribute to their development, and work with specialists to test and introduce them. Document rules and exceptions, then check whether changes improve daily work.
  • Protect service quality. Use your account knowledge to spot work that is inaccurate, off-brand, or unlikely to achieve its purpose. Bring concerns to the right specialists and follow through on the resolution, including a sharp, critical review of anything AI touched.
  • Turn reporting into action. Work with analysts and community teams to translate performance and audience feedback into recommendations. Help clients and partners agree changes, define the intended result, and review whether they worked. Make detailed findings and executive updates clear and accurate.
  • Keep commitments and account health visible. Track scope, capacity, approvals, risks, client sentiment, and commercial implications. Communicate changes early, make realistic commitments, and raise opportunities that add value to the relationship.
  • Bring the right expertise into the conversation. Connect clients with Storm colleagues who can help them make informed decisions. Explain progress, dependencies, limitations, and trade-offs in plain English.
  • Make escalations useful. Diagnose blockers with the available evidence and tools, then bring clear context, what has been tried, options, a recommendation, and a specific ask. Help teammates meet the same standard.
  • Build a dependable AI working practice. Develop repeatable workflows for account preparation, action tracking, decision records, briefing, and quality checks. Verify outputs against source information, make uncertainty visible, and improve the method through use and feedback.
  • Keep improving how the work gets done. Encode your best methods into reusable skills and workflows that agents and teammates can pick up and run, and teach what works so the whole team levels up with you. Stay curious about better tools and account-management practices, and apply what you learn.

YOUR EXPERTISE

  • Evidence of personally owning client relationships and complex delivery conversations. You build trust through warmth, sound judgement, constructive challenge, and reliable follow-through.
  • A strong systems mindset. You can explain a process you improved, the problem behind it, the changes you helped develop, and how you knew they worked.
  • Confidence understanding workflow tools such as Airtable or comparable systems: how information connects, what drives a status, where approvals happen, and how an exception gets handled. You can brief and discuss changes confidently with both clients and builders.
  • Demonstrable, hands-on use of AI tools and agents in your work or projects. You can show a repeatable workflow, explain the context you provide, and describe what you check, change, or reject.
  • Strong written and spoken English. You make complicated situations clear, communicate effectively across a remote team, and tailor detail to the person who needs it.
  • Commercial and delivery judgement. You balance client priorities with scope, team capacity, quality, and long-term account health, and act early when something needs attention.
  • Confidence interpreting performance information and asking useful questions of specialists. You can connect evidence with a practical recommendation and recognise when more context is needed.
  • High ownership and attention to detail. You drive improvements through to completion, keep learning, and maintain quality when work moves quickly. Agency, social media, or entertainment experience is useful; clear evidence of the capabilities above matters most.

  • First interview. Meet with account leadership or our recruitment team to discuss your experience and approach.
  • Practical task. Complete a paid practical task, capped at three hours, built around a realistic brief. We'll ask you to show your working, including how you used AI to get it done. Your method interests us as much as your output.
