Who We Are

About the Role

We're hiring a Video Editor & Graphic Designer to produce finished video, motion, and static assets for some of the biggest names in US TV and entertainment. The craft is what you'd expect: cutting, motion, layout, typography, versioning, exporting. The bar is high, and how the work gets done is changing fast.

Storm is an AI-native agency. AI tools and agentic workflows are central to how our teams work, and we hire people who want to work that way from day one.

You'll learn the ground first: what we make and the bar it has to hit. Supercuts that capture a moment, motion graphics with real polish, static design that stops the scroll. Then you'll work from Storm's stack of AI and creative tools, and play a real part in improving how this role gets done.

AI-first doesn't mean AI-generated. The work itself is craft. Real editing, real motion, real design. AI-first is about how the work gets made. You direct agents that operate real production tools, including design files through connectors like the Figma MCP and video cut, assembled, and rendered programmatically with the likes of Remotion and ffmpeg, to produce, version, and QA content at a pace hands-on-keyboard alone can't match. And some projects go further, giving us real room to stretch our generative imagination, pushing what AI can make rather than just how fast we can make it. Whatever the brief, your craft and judgment stay in charge of every frame.

About Storm Ideas

Founded in 2008, Storm Ideas is an international team working with globally recognised clients, particularly across the US TV and entertainment industry.

Our work sits at the intersection of media, technology, creativity, and operations. We build products, produce content at scale, design smarter ways for clients and internal teams to work, and keep looking for new ways to improve how the company operates.

We are a remote-first, fast-moving company with established clients, a growing team, and a strong appetite for better tools, better systems, and better ways of working. AI is central to how we operate - every team, every role, this one included.

What You’ll Make Happen

  • Deliver polished, purposeful, finished assets to spec - video, motion, and static - with AI tools and agentic workflows as your default way of working, not an afterthought
  • Understand the brief, brand, audience, platform, and show or fandom context deeply enough to make good craft decisions - and to judge instantly when AI output is on-brand and when it isn't
  • Apply the creative judgment that makes work strong: story, pacing, composition, hierarchy, typography, and platform fit - improving assets beyond the minimum brief where scope allows
  • Produce through agents as well as by hand: driving design files through connectors like the Figma MCP, assembling and rendering video programmatically with tools like Remotion and ffmpeg, and running versioning, reformatting, caption passes, exports, and QA checks through workflows you keep improving
  • Self-proof everything to as close to error-free as possible before handover - including a sharp, critical review of anything AI touched - so your work lands clean at review and with clients
  • Treat rights and brand safety as fixed points - including knowing exactly where AI can and can't be used in the work
  • Keep assigned work moving with sound time judgment; when something blocks you, use your tools to diagnose it first, then escalate with clear context and options
  • Keep files, naming, versions, and handovers reliable, so work can be found, reused, and picked up by people and agents alike
  • Keep improving how the work gets done: encode your best methods into reusable skills and workflows that agents and teammates can pick up and run, and teach what works so the whole team levels up with you

YOUR EXPERTISE

  • Real, demonstrable craft in video editing and/or motion and static design, with a showreel or portfolio that proves it - the craft bar is non-negotiable
  • Comfort with professional creative tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma. You might know them deeply from a traditional editing or design background and be moving to AI-first ways of working, or you might have started AI-first and reach for them where the job calls for it. Either path works here
  • Demonstrable, hands-on use of AI agents in real creative work: directing them through connectors and programmatic tools - Figma MCP, Remotion, ffmpeg, or similar - to produce finished content, with generation where it fits; genuine capability, not just curiosity
  • The judgment to review AI output against brand, spec, and rights - you never treat it as finished work
  • A systems thinker: you see repeatable production work as a flow to design and improve, not a list of tasks to grind through
  • High agency and ownership - comfortable stepping beyond the brief and driving improvements to completion, not just proposing them
  • Unparalleled attention to detail: on-screen text, specs, brand fit, and file quality, held at speed
  • Clear written communication and strong async habits for remote, international teamwork
  • Real enthusiasm for how fast AI is moving in creative tooling, with an instinct for what genuinely improves the work and what is just noise

What It’s Like To Work Here

Modern Tools & A Real AI Stack

The latest hardware and professional creative software, plus a properly provisioned AI stack with real access to current tools and agents, supported by our AI Operations team.

Your Methods Can Become How The Team Works

We actively encourage people to bring forward better ways of working. When a method you develop proves itself, you won't just use it quietly: you'll encode it as a skill others can run, teach it to the team, and watch it become the new standard, with your name on it.

Team-Based

You'll work with production managers, creative teams, and account teams across an international, remote-first company of 175+ people. We hire for skill, drive, and authenticity.

Remote-First & Flexible

Fully remote within Turkey.

Recruitment process

Apply with your CV or resume. Any work you want to show us? It's optional but would be a bonus! Anything you think might be relevant.

  • First, you'll answer a few questions via a short self-recorded video.
  • If successful, you'll join an interview via MS Teams with our production leadership or recruitment team to get to know each other and answer your questions.
  • Following this, there's a short, time-boxed practical task built around a realistic brief. We'll ask you to show your working - including how you used AI to get it done. Your method interests us as much as your output.
  • Finally, there's a second interview with a senior leader, and that's it.

Not sure you tick every box? Apply anyway if this sounds like how you already work. We're more interested in your craft, your judgment, and how you work with AI than in a perfect traditional CV.
